In March 2015, Burst of Butterflies Create & Paint Studio was featured in a photo gallery published by the The Arizona Republic highlighting “7 Reasons to Visit Downtown Chandler.” The gallery celebrated local businesses, attractions, and experiences that made Downtown Chandler a vibrant place to explore, shop, and spend time.
The feature showcased Downtown Chandler as a destination filled with locally owned shops, restaurants, and creative spaces — and included Burst of Butterflies as a place where visitors could make art, paint pottery, and enjoy hands-on creative experiences in the heart of the city.
At the time, Burst of Butterflies was already a growing part of the Downtown Chandler community, welcoming families, friends, and visitors looking for a creative and memorable experience. Being included alongside other beloved local destinations was an exciting milestone and an early reminder of how special the downtown arts scene had become.
More than a decade later, we’re grateful to still be creating, teaching, and connecting with our community — and proud to have been part of Downtown Chandler’s story from the early days.
