3-Day Summer Creative Experience

Monday–Wednesday | 1–4 PM | Ages 8–14

Rhythm & Remix is a 3-day immersive studio experience where art meets music, pattern, and motion. Students will explore textured clay techniques, dynamic movement-inspired painting, and modern pottery surface design while building real artistic skills in a professional studio setting.
This week blends structure with experimentation — encouraging creative risk-taking, layered design, repetition, and expressive form.
🌀 Monday – Clay Creation Day (June 29)
Students rotate between wheel throwing and hand-building to create rhythm-inspired clay projects focused on texture, pattern repetition, and sculptural form. Projects emphasize strong construction skills, scoring and attaching techniques, and intentional surface design.
Clay pieces are created in raw clay and will be glazed during a return visit once fired.
🎨 Tuesday – Painting & Sketching Day (June 30)
Students explore movement-based painting techniques including tape-resist design, bold color blocking, layered acrylic compositions, and dynamic brushwork inspired by rhythm and soundwave patterns.
Projects may include canvas or wood panel artwork designed to emphasize composition, contrast, and visual flow.
🎸 Wednesday – Glaze Lab: Pottery Techniques (July 1)
Students paint two pottery pieces while learning modern glazing techniques such as rhythmic banding, layered color blending, metallic accents, and expressive surface decoration.
This week features a detailed guitar-shaped trinket box as one of the pottery projects — allowing students to apply creative color design and modern pattern techniques in a fun, music-inspired format.
Designed as a cohesive 3-day creative experience.
Single-day spots may be released closer to the start date if space allows.

What if we’re out of town when glazing is ready?
No problem. Glazing may be completed during any of our regular glazing hours within 30 days of notification.
How long do we have to pick up finished projects?
Finished projects are held for 30 days after notification due to limited storage space.
What if my child misses a day?
Missed days are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
When will finished clay pieces be ready after glazing?
Glazed clay projects are typically ready 7–10 days after glazing. We will text when ready.
Will we be notified when projects are ready?
Yes. We will send a text message when projects are ready for glazing or pickup. Please wait for this notification before visiting.
Summer Creative Experience – Cancellation Policy
Because Summer Break Art Adventure require advance staffing, materials, and kiln scheduling, the following cancellation policy applies:

Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least three (3) weeks before the scheduled session.

Studio credit is available if cancellation is made at least one (1) week before the scheduled session.

Cancellations made less than one (1) week of the session are non-refundable.
If your child is unable to attend, you may transfer the registration to another child (such as a sibling or family member) by notifying the studio prior to the session, provided the replacement child meets the age requirements.
Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
