This blog reflects a workshop offering from 2022. Burst of Butterflies discontinued fused glass workshops in August 2025 as we refined our focus on pottery painting, canvas painting, and clay experiences.
When we offered glass fusing workshops they were all introductory level! You could learn all about how to cut and shape your pieces, various textures and shapes you can create, as well as the difference between contour fuse and full fuse. In these workshops you have the option between creating two pendants (bail and chain included) or a dish (coaster, tile, or any shape you would like!) Fired and finished pieces will then be ready for pickup within 10 days.
Glass fusing is also available for Walk-In projects, but we recommend taking one of our workshops first for a full in depth tutorial!
NOTE: We still off firing services for glass projects that you have made externally.

Glass Pendants are a great way to create your own one of a kind jewelry! Great for handmade gifts, special occasions, holidays, etc!
Get creative with shapes, sizes and colors! Dishes and tiles are great for coasters or decorative pieces. Different multi colored shapes are great for wall hangings or window decorations!
