Poolside Paradise: Clay Trinket Dish Or Ashtray | Hand-Building Workshop

Beat the Arizona heat with a creative clay project that’s perfect for summer!

In this fun hand-building class, you’ll create your own miniature swimming pool inspired trinket dish or ashtray from clay. Add playful details like pool ladders, a floating pool ring, and your own creative touches to make it uniquely yours.

Whether you use it as a jewelry dish, catch-all tray, desk accessory, or ashtray, this whimsical project is sure to make a splash!

No clay experience is required. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through building, attaching details, and preparing your piece for firing.

Finished pieces will be kiln fired and ready for return glazing approximately 10-14 days after class. Once glazed, we’ll fire them one final time and notify you when they’re ready for pickup.

Ages 16+ recommended. All clay, tools, instruction, firing, and finishing are included.

No experience needed—just come ready to get your hands in the clay and have fun.

Spots are limited and classes often fill quickly.

After your piece is created, we’ll carefully dry and fire it in our kiln. In about 2 weeks, you’ll return to glaze (paint) your piece with your choice of colors. Once glazed, your piece will be fired again and ready for pickup about 10 days later.
