Silly Goose Planter – Clay Hand-Building Class

In this hands-on clay hand-building class, you’ll create your own Silly Goose Planter—a charming, whimsical goose with plenty of personality and just the right amount of “silly.”

This class is perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to try clay without the wheel. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through the hand-building process, from forming the body to adding details like the beak, wings, feet, and bow. No experience needed—we’ll walk you through everything.

After building, your piece will be dried and fired in our kiln. Once firing is complete, you’ll return during open studio hours to paint and glaze your planter, choosing colors that make it uniquely yours. Your finished piece will be glaze-fired again for a glossy, food-safe, plant-ready finish.
