3-Day Summer Creative Experience

Dive into creativity and explore the wonders of the sea!
Ocean Explorers is a 3-day immersive studio experience where students create art inspired by marine life, underwater landscapes, and bold ocean textures. Kids will experiment with movement, layering, and surface design while building strong foundational art skills.
This week blends imagination with real technique — perfect for kids who love animals, adventure, and hands-on creation.
🌀 Monday – Clay Creation Day (June 15)
Students rotate between wheel throwing and hand-building to create ocean-inspired projects such as wave bowls, sea creature sculptures, coral textures, or shell-themed vessels. Projects are created in raw clay and will be glazed during a return visit once fired.
🎨 Tuesday – Painting & Sketching Day (June 16)
Students explore watercolor blending, acrylic layering, and mixed-media techniques to create ocean scenes, sea life portraits, and underwater compositions full of movement and color.
🏺 Wednesday – Glaze Lab: Pottery Techniques (June 17)
Students paint two pottery pieces while learning glaze techniques such as layered blue-green blending, resist patterns, bubble effects, and texture-enhancing finishes inspired by the sea.
Designed as a cohesive 3-day creative experience.
Single-day spots may be released closer to the start date if space allows.

What if we’re out of town when glazing is ready?
No problem. Glazing may be completed during any of our regular glazing hours within 30 days of notification.
How long do we have to pick up finished projects?
Finished projects are held for 30 days after notification due to limited storage space.
What if my child misses a day?
Missed days are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
When will finished clay pieces be ready after glazing?
Glazed clay projects are typically ready 7–10 days after glazing. We will text when ready.
Will we be notified when projects are ready?
Yes. We will send a text message when projects are ready for glazing or pickup. Please wait for this notification before visiting.
Summer Creative Experience – Cancellation Policy
Because Summer Break Art Adventure require advance staffing, materials, and kiln scheduling, the following cancellation policy applies:

Full refunds are available if cancellation is made at least three (3) weeks before the scheduled session.

Studio credit is available if cancellation is made at least one (1) week before the scheduled session.

Cancellations made less than one (1) week of the session are non-refundable.
If your child is unable to attend, you may transfer the registration to another child (such as a sibling or family member) by notifying the studio prior to the session, provided the replacement child meets the age requirements.
Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
