Cheryl founded Burst of Butterflies to create a welcoming space where creativity, connection, and community come together. She believes everyone deserves a place to slow down, create freely, and feel supported — no matter their age or experience level.

Burst of Butterflies was inspired by Cheryl’s sister, Risa, and built on the belief that art can be healing, joyful, and deeply human. What began as a small studio has grown into a creative community spanning multiple locations, guided by Cheryl’s commitment to people, process, and heart. She continues to grow the studios alongside an incredible team, always focused on creating meaningful experiences for guests and a positive, supportive environment for those who work there — today and into the future.

Today, Cheryl remains deeply involved in the studios, working alongside her team to ensure Burst of Butterflies continues to be a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to create.
